A website for grammar nerds, writers, teachers, and anyone in between!

Despite being a relatively outgoing person my entire life, I have always felt hesitant when it comes to sharing my writing. There’s just something about letting others read my work that feels more personal than trading secrets. However, as I will soon be entering the professional world, I feel it’s time to let go of my anxieties and give anyone who comes across this page some insight into who I am as a writer, editor, and individual.

So, welcome! I’m glad you’re here. Aside from conquering my fear of vulnerability by sharing the writing and editing work that I am most passionate about, I created this website as a way to connect with fellow teachers, writers, editors and potential employers. As stated on the home page linked above, here you will find my editing and writing portfolio, a few educational and writing-related blog posts, and my best attempt at a podcast.

It is my hope that there is something for everyone here to resonate with, learn from, or simply enjoy! If you’re a student and aspiring teacher like me, I’m sure we’ll have a lot in common! If you’re a writer, editor, or someone who loves literature, great! So do I. If you don’t feel like you fit into any of these categories, no worries! Perhaps I can share some of my (limited) wisdom on becoming a better writer, learning to love English, or applying to grad school (see blog tab linked above). Whatever the case may be, all are welcome.

When I began this process, I wasn’t sure exactly how my website would turn out; but if I had to sum up its contents into a few words now that it’s complete, I would say it is both educational and a window into the creative part of my mind.

In terms of navigating this site, if you’re someone who likes order, you can move from left to right using the tabs above. If you’re more of a free spirit, start with whichever one calls out to you.

Finally, if you do find yourself interested in anything on here, as I said before, I’d love to connect. My LinkedIn, email, and social media are linked in the top- right corner. Looking forward to (maybe) hearing from you soon, and I hope you enjoy this site as much as I enjoyed making it!
